I look at reproduction in humans as a "Do you want plumbers, welders, waiters, people to talk to etc in 20 years time?"

government elites want more ppl becoz they want more tax slaves and disposable soilders

Basically looking at what result you want and going backwards from there.

corporate elites want money and power at the expense of all else

The disposable soldiers are the same net taxpayers (men), therefore the tax slaves.

more automation -> corporations get more power and control over every aspect of society since they will make all the bots

govt elites cant tax robots becoz robots are not citizens

so there is a conflict

I'm not so sure this was intentionally engineered.........

Beyond lifespans

right now we are guinnea pigs in a huge balancing experiment

corporation and govt are dividing and sharing power

govt = "i will give you power, tax breaks and automation"

corporation = "i will in exchange give you employment and jobs"

The government has a monopoly on violence and force, which is from where all power is derived. I don't really believe that any corporate entity would really split any power with any government

govt = "ok but dont replace all humans, i need a tax base"

The government always has the monopoly regardless

corporations create tons of tech, innovation, jobs and growth

it uses that as a levarage

no amount of violence and force creates gene editing or AI

Yeah but at the end of the day, government can end them in an instant and someone new will replace them

Corporations are just as much at their mercy as anyone

i am talking about the big tech companies like google, apple, etc

Google and apple even aren't immune

All their facilities could be seized tomorrow by the government if it wanted

i dont think there will ever be an incentive for that

right now the only person losing is the middle class

Their not sharing power is what I'm getting at. Maybe their getting special favors but only force is where real power is derived

And the government has all the force

it does but i don think it will ever use it though

it makes sense to co-operate and screw over the little guy

The government can and does all the time I fact. That's why there are so many regulations they place on everything

Violate a single one of them and that's when they use force
