Yeah I fucked my knee first time I tried
Even if I did before, I'm over thirty now. You don't see a lot of people skateboarding at 30 years old
I tried for five years, off and on. Could not even skate down the driveway
That being when I was Young
Skating stopped being epic when I was about ready to try it out
I actually **do** see a lot of over 30s skating
It's not a good look
I have to drive last a centrelink which is our unemployment thing
what up bros
Not much, do you skate?
Guys I have a question?
no
You may ask the question
I’m looking for spiritual purpose, but dont have strong faith, while don’t want to dedicate my life only to pleasure and sin. Different kind of existential dread?
I can’t explain it well

🤔
@Archer9 I get not wanting to only dedicate one’s life to hedonistic tendencies.. personally I say there’s nothing wrong with dabbling in things that are pleasurable. If you’re looking for spiritual enlightenment, I’d dabble with ancient/middle Eastern lore and spirituality first. Take a look at Zoroastrianism and really dive deep into some of the mysticism of the Abrahamic religions too (things that fundamentalists won’t preach about in their respective houses of worship lol)
Wish I could help but I've never been one for spiritual purpose
If you’re on YouTube, Styxhexenhammer667 is worth checking out imo. He’s got some fantastic works on various mystic, religious and occult spiritual topics that will blow your mind. I went to a Bible college and read commentaries that did not go as deep as this guy does. He also does political commentary too, which for me is killing two birds with one stone
Thank you, what kind of mysticism. I sense there’s more to religion that going to church and acknowledging salvation.
But there’s more...
Never stop pursuing knowledge @Archer9
Oh my bad, typo. It’s Styxhexenhammer666*
Pursue to much knowledge and you’re damned.
Mmm.. is disagree with you there man, but to each his own I suppose
I’d*
Mind you I’m a deconverted former Christian as well lol, so
The people I take bible study always push toward attending church and wanting a family.
Today had the worst combination of wanting and remembering mgtow truths.
Have you ever asked your friends in your bible study about the origins of the books in the bible?
I should. God is not so loving in the old testament.
Knowledge is 1 of the few things no one can take from you
Mm.. that’s what perked my interest at first. You might be surprised to learn that the “cannon” OT of the Protestant and Catholic bibles differ from what’s cannon in the Torah
I don’t know much about religion, but Protestants are the cucks for sure.
A lot of the Torah actually has been borrowed subsequently from Babylonian and Sumerian lore as well. It’s really hard to gauge the authenticity of their texts since you can go further and further back. Which really calls into question all of the Abrahamic faiths in the first place
Hypothetical wasn’t jesus a Mgtow?
Zoroastrianism is older than some of the oldest Jewish lore that we know of, so who even knows
I went home with the Wrong fucking bag

If you ask me, Catholicism (Christianity) in general is the last remnant of the Roman Empire. Made to control and subjugate people
Somewhat
