idk why i started this conversation

2018-11-15 14:13:21 UTC

It was a nice research project to get the day started.

2018-11-15 14:15:21 UTC

so the conclusion is that america and europes times overlap to much to be able to define wwhatss american and whats european active hours

2018-11-15 14:21:34 UTC

Not necessarily, if you just keep in mind the difference of about 6 hours. At least in our case.

2018-11-15 14:22:57 UTC

Yeah, I'm guessing the west coast is about 9 hours difference for you. It's 6am there.

2018-11-15 14:23:15 UTC

yea about 9h

2018-11-15 14:24:17 UTC

So your 11pm-2am would be the most apparent active timeframe for Americans. But yesterday could have been an anomaly.

2018-11-15 14:24:48 UTC

Another note is that there were 110 active users during the peak in activity yesterday.

2018-11-15 14:25:11 UTC

usually there are about 60-80. It could also be that just a select number of users were contributing the most activity.

2018-11-15 14:25:21 UTC

Yeah but there's always like 3-10 people actually talking

2018-11-15 14:25:29 UTC

Also Hi Muffle

2018-11-15 14:25:33 UTC

or that we had alot of people join recently

2018-11-15 14:26:31 UTC

But in my experience, it's most active during the American Daytime, which would be your ( @legendpinnen ) 6PM-1AM.

2018-11-15 14:26:40 UTC

yea

2018-11-15 14:26:55 UTC

during the day its really unactive here

2018-11-15 14:27:01 UTC

I think we have a large amount of people outside of the US.

2018-11-15 14:27:23 UTC

Atleast that's what the active users seem to report.

2018-11-15 14:27:28 UTC

most i think but alot of the active ones are from the us

2018-11-15 14:27:40 UTC

@hel whatup man!?!!?

2018-11-15 14:28:58 UTC

so if its active from the evening to way late in europe and mostly on the day to early night in american time

2018-11-15 14:29:09 UTC

then its more active during american hours

2018-11-15 14:29:16 UTC

@hel usually with most groups, only a small percentage of people interact. Like YouTubers for example: usually only 10% of their subscribers contribute via donations and overall engagement.

2018-11-15 14:29:57 UTC

I think humans are natural lurkers.

2018-11-15 14:30:18 UTC

i think the initial message is the hardest

2018-11-15 14:30:30 UTC

atleast thats how it was for me

2018-11-15 14:30:40 UTC

@legendpinnen could be, but I really think most people are spread out here, so there has definitely been random spikes in activity.

2018-11-15 14:31:04 UTC

the red pill message?

2018-11-15 14:31:14 UTC

?

2018-11-15 14:32:03 UTC

The initial message you're referring to? Are you saying people are lurkers because they are gauging the environment, based on the shock value of the red pill realization?

2018-11-15 14:33:06 UTC

i got that first part but what d you mean by " based on the shock value of the red pill realization?" ?

2018-11-15 14:34:26 UTC

When you say the message is the hardest, are you saying that it's hard for people to internalize MGTOW at first, so they lurk in the community to understand the philosophy? Kind of like when a housecat is brought to a new home, it hides immediately for a day or so to gauge it's surroundings.

2018-11-15 14:35:39 UTC

what are some exercises i could do with dumbbells and a yoga mat?

2018-11-15 14:36:36 UTC

that could be a part of it but i didnt think that much into it. Just that people are nervous of judgement or being ignored for example and thats why they lurk to kinda read the atmosphere

2018-11-15 14:36:59 UTC

@hel I wouldn't suggest doing both together. You need a solid foundation when working with weights or you could lose your balance and pull something. That's why gyms tend to have concrete floors or hard mats.

2018-11-15 14:37:13 UTC

But it depends really on what muscle groups you're trying to build.

2018-11-15 14:37:24 UTC

and how heavy the dumbbells are.

2018-11-15 14:37:46 UTC

i mean with light dumbbells

2018-11-15 14:37:50 UTC

that shouldn't be a problem

2018-11-15 14:38:01 UTC

Which muscle group?

2018-11-15 14:38:07 UTC

chest for example

2018-11-15 14:39:00 UTC

@legendpinnen agreed. I'm an overthinker, but yeah. I think a large amount of people prefer people watching too; maybe just to gather perspectives without contributing.
