What gets me about 'social media' is how anti social it is.. I use to go on IRC in the early 2000's, had frequent meets for channels and made lots of friends.. modern social media, very much the opposite

Dude, didn't even have to get to Kavanaught. Think even about Weinstein and many of the other celebrities. Literally nothing has happened to them authority wise, because there is no proof of anything. They just lost their jobs, because of words.

And if you think about it, sure, it is very likely Weinstein was sleeping with all sorts of women from the industry, but surely they were doing it conciously as they wanted to get ahead in their career. No one was forcing them. Now that many of them have lost relevance, because they were never anything special and are just old now, they are just trying to be get some spot light again.

I wouldn't say better @InstallGentoo. This what I think too. They sucks Weinstein dick to get promote and get some role in movies. But after they reached 40s, no one want them, they can't compete with the new fresh girls, no one are looking on them like they were young, they are desperate so they choose to make false accusations for two main reasons (money and attention).
