@MufflePuff people are already in space; but I guess you mean the common man. Well common man can't afford a helicopter; so only rich people will be in space which is somewhat what you already have now
@ValleyAnt I meant being an inter-planetary species.
All technology tends to become more affordable in time.
Cell phones used to be for the rich. Space will take longer, but it's only a matter of time.
@ValleyAnt Where's your evidence that climate change and global warming are a farce? The planet can't sustain us for much longer at our current usage of fossil fuels and deforestation.
Awwwwwwww shiet lmao. Can of worms!!!
@MufflePuff I encourage you to do a search for all Hollywood movies from 2006 till now. About 2008 most of the movies began to have similar themes. I wish they were just movies, but movies are made for adults and cartoons for kids. Lots of truths being told us in movies
Meh
@GingerSnaps you'll have to look for the evidence yourself; I've looked a lot already and it's not easy work. There are also ways to reduce usage of fuels and toxins we don't need to use
Just like biopics, movies always overly dramatize topics.
Everything i've seen and read and experienced says climate change and global warming are real. And they're man made problems, not natural occurrences.
Global warming is bullshit
@MufflePuff that's a lot of movies so I don't expect you to check them out. But I tend to notice the things that most people miss. Movies are for adults, therefore they aren't as big on fantasy as just would like to think since adults live in reality and fantasy just wouldn't click that well. Cartoons, however...
There isnt enough CO2 in the atmosphere to create what they are saying
Its actually getting colder
That's why people absolutely love movies "based on a true story"... But that's adults. Kids not so much
Yeah but the ocean temps are rising
@ValleyAnt movies dramatize adult topics that appeal to adults, like children's cartoons dramatize child-like fantasies. It's about appealing to the audience's interests.
Yeah global warming is a farce. I don't even have to be a scientist to smell that bullshit
@MufflePuff that would be nice; it just ain't so
Global warming is a natural occurence. It's real. But human acceleration is highly sketchy. The reports have been ballooned to gain access to funding.
@GingerSnaps pretty much.
That's why you have a separate sci-fi channel. But even those have lots of facts in them. After all, it's hard to reason that anyone can imagine or fantasize or mentally conjur up something that doesn't already exist somewhere on some plane
Anyway, most people prefer denial anyway
It's hard to take anything on TV seriously. News included, let alone entertainment.
I too, but not when it's important
Well just try to make sense of things then
TV tells you what's "important", that's the problem.
They use small truths to convince you that bigger things are issues.
They use big names and big platforms to validate them.
It's all propagandization and conspiracy theories.
I used to love watching Law&Order: SVU... Then I stopped. Criminal Minds was next. Loved that series. Then I stopped
@GingerSnaps agreed.
A lot of propaganda on TV
I stopped watching some of my fave shows cuz I suddenly realized some of the propaganda in them
Honestly, if it isn't entertainment, I don't even watch TV. Not for a couple years now. Maybe a decade. I prefer YouTube, it's more informing and customizable.
And free.
I like TV cuz you get to just vegetate. On computer you have to engage: "I want this video; now that site..." TV you sit down and relax and just let the TV do everything. Of course don't be a zombie either but TV has its uses
Lmao vegetate is a great word.
