coffeine is a nootropic
yeah, but they don't work that good
slight edge
The drug from limitless was too good lol
I know of what you speak, that subtle sharpening of the senses on the first gulp
I think to achieve a limitless mindset you would need to meditate, detoxify from social media (monk mode), get a routine, sleep enough and fill in any nutritional deficiencies with vitamins
Imagine having that drug from limitless
Also confidence is a game changer
what drug
sounds pretty gay
Adderall had that exact effect on me but that's because I have adult ADHD
meh everyone has adhd
go into a bus everyone is into their smartphones
browsing (surprise, surprise) facebook
but i don't wanna dismiss
Entering the trance like state that athletes call "the Zone" would work as well, all those theta brainwaves
it's a real issue, perhaps
what do i know
People with actual tangible ADHD have the same brain makeup as people with alzheimers. Like parts of their brain are actually dormant
So it is a real thing
But kids who can't sit still are just kids being kids
not just kids
the youth nowadays isn't attentive enough
their brain is so overstimulated that they don't know what to focus on
there is just too much stuff to do
esp students, learn math, learn biology, learn everything
that's why i believe in minimalism, without social media or at least minimizing it, i can wholeheartedly say that it can increase your happiness
because with social media you start comparing yourself with others
"these people are doing better than me" but they share the highlights of their life, that's it
I completely agree with that
You're not gonna show people what you look like when you've been eating cheetos and watching tv for 3 days
LOL
but yeah regarding your adhd, i believe you. at the same time though, many people nowadays have adhd-like symptoms
that's my point basically
I stopped reading books cuz I had to read each page 3 times even though I looked at every word. I fucking hate it
But we're oversaturated with stimuli from the time we wake up until we go to sleep
This is just a theory but I think a lot of mental illnesses today could just be the result of some of society and social conditioning as a youth. The problem is that it can't be changed very well after a certain deadline. I don't think ADHD would fit here, but others might
I don't know why but I sometimes reread the same line of a page 3 times or I check if I turned off my computer like 3 times even though I did that 5 minutes ago
Countries who consume less processed food and don't use as much fluoride usually have higher test scores and fewer instances of mental illness
Is fluoride really that bad
