Speaking of alpha males, I find that practicing (standing up and being assertive) is really effective when dealing with a traditional mother. They can act as a practice dummy for the real world. Of course I do not abuse my mother, but I stand up for myself.

I do not willingly accept leadership onto myself. I am kind of averse to it however people want me to run shit much like how they treated my grandfather. However to me that's just a lot of work accepting the responsibility of other's onto myself for very little reward.
