Some goy on the forums actually put me on to this
I need to commit
do it man
start the process
you arent committed till you sign papers at the end of the process
officer life is pretty comfy
No but I'm not gonna apply halfAssed
no, I understand
If I got it I would take it
I think it's only a 4 year commitment if what i saw is right
4 years is fine with me
my situation was way different
I was looking at an 8 year commitment after 3-4 years of flight school
and i'd be doing non-flying roles
which isn't what i wanted to do
Understudy?
so I was 22-24 looking at committing till i was 35 or so
no, naval flight officer, depending on platform you do different things
but you'd never fly
they're the weapons/sensor system operators
the skills aren't as transferable to the civilian world as pilots either
Hmmm transferable to ATC?
not directly
most go into aeronautical engineering or something
sensor/weapons system development
pilots have a log book full of hours
they can fly commerical
get into training
fly for UPS/DHL/FedEx
all sorts of tracks
If I were you, I'd do this
you'll have 4 years of pretty good pay and a housing allowance
you'll likely be living in white areas
decent women know military bases are places to find decent men
I have a lot of leadership exp
High IQ and solid educational history
gives you 4 years to find a wife and start a family with max stability
and assess what you want to do next
I need to give back as trite as that sounds
For my BS
