if it's empire-based/country-based/resource management, i usually suck, either way

like, i tried playing twilight imperium 4e with some of the guys i played shadowrun 5e with

but if it's unit-based, and not RTS

i usually am ok with it, but im not great

also, i'm kind of merging 'strategy' with 'tactics' here, when i say 'strategy'

but turn-based tactics games can be ok for me
