the answer to "is this traditional/established cooking technique worth it" is almost always yes

that's true, there is just all these artisan pizza places and i wasn't sure if the effort was worth just driving to get the pizza

you will almost never make something at home better than a professional makes it

but the pride element definitely makes eating more enjoyable

the bread i make isn't great but i love it because i made it

that's a good way to look at it, in fact i'm working on bread right now i'm really bad at baking

im making all the bread stuffs for thanksgiving

I'm usually on protein duty, last year I made a pineapple, orange and clove honey baked ham

two loaves of potato bread with garlic and rosemary, honey glazed biscuits, and spicy wheat bread for stuffing

also imma make the mashed potats

potats are really yummy

I like mine a bit chunky though

i like em creeeeamy

creamy ones remind me of boxed tatoes and i hate those

gotta leave the skins in too

oh speaking of which, my boss just had surgery and I made their family my moms mac and cheese and I got lots of compliments

skins are good, extra fibre too
