Well you can go back over that data. They were consistently improving throughout the period up until fairly recently. There's this great interview with Sowell where the white liberal interviewer says," But they haven't caught up with whites."

Like a boss Sowell says, "Well whites haven't stayed still."

The problem is, and I think this is Murrray's point, if we continue down this path toward toward European stile SucDem we could all fall back to what happened to black Americans. Except a few liberal elites.

but now technically if we care about the blacks in america "catching up" to whites... then we would want to restrict immigration of hispanics

so my stance on immigration still remains unchanged.

because hispanic immigration puts downward pressure on wages, and also takes up educational resources and so on. so you know, whether nonwhites are capable of catching up to whites or not, doesnt really change my position on immigration

I favor *legal* immigration. Now here's the thing *legally* we naturalize about 600K citizens a year. That's nothing. We can totally integrate that with no issue. That's not the problem.

but importing people doesn't really help the poor of the world anyway.
