2020-01-31 04:51:12 UTC

You realise I can't exactly reach into the screen and throttle you until you get shit done, right?

2020-01-31 04:51:30 UTC

you are under you own control

2020-01-31 04:52:01 UTC

so our southern border got blown down by wind today
wall? more like fall

2020-01-31 04:52:16 UTC

no shit, did it really??

2020-01-31 04:52:38 UTC

pretty much sums up this administration

2020-01-31 04:52:43 UTC

link?

2020-01-31 04:52:45 UTC

story?

2020-01-31 04:52:59 UTC

XD

2020-01-31 04:53:25 UTC

you don't got it or you think it's funny that we bolth asked at the same time?

2020-01-31 04:54:09 UTC

Ahhh, non-set concrete, ok, makes sense

2020-01-31 04:54:40 UTC

ok then, I don't see how this reflects on the administration in the slightest.

2020-01-31 04:54:49 UTC

of all the criticisms I had for a wall, I didn't think I'd have to throw in inclement weather <:thinking_clown:590855640268668928>

2020-01-31 04:55:06 UTC

glad I don't afterall

2020-01-31 04:55:07 UTC

XD

2020-01-31 04:55:07 UTC

it's not like this was a part that had been done for months that just fell over in high winds.

2020-01-31 04:55:45 UTC

yeah, simultaneously disappointed and relieved

2020-01-31 04:56:12 UTC

still funny that they wouldnt secure it down though

2020-01-31 04:56:26 UTC

be fair, wind down here is no joke

2020-01-31 04:56:29 UTC

would need lots more then a 30sec clip to know what happend.

2020-01-31 04:56:38 UTC

and wind can come in suddenly

2020-01-31 04:56:50 UTC

up in Oregon, we had mountains and shit, weather was there to stay

2020-01-31 04:56:57 UTC

down here in texas, holy shit

2020-01-31 04:57:22 UTC

our god damn patio umbrella flew the fuck up and over to the other side of our apartment

2020-01-31 04:57:42 UTC

guess we were lucky it didn't land on the roof

2020-01-31 04:58:04 UTC

i think we can all agree that the wall has been a disappointment

2020-01-31 04:58:15 UTC

power's regularly gone out due to high winds

2020-01-31 04:58:20 UTC

no?

2020-01-31 04:58:43 UTC

... you do know how much wall has actually been built right?

2020-01-31 04:58:56 UTC

like less than 10 miles

2020-01-31 04:59:05 UTC

the wall is doing it's job fine and the fact that trump is getting anything done on it while the dems and some of the republicans are hardline against him is a win.

2020-01-31 04:59:08 UTC

I just think its a poor use of resources for the task, but you won't catch me pouting if it turns out its a decent solution

2020-01-31 04:59:18 UTC

https://www.trumpwall.construction/

2020-01-31 04:59:28 UTC

Miles Built: 110
Miles to be Built: 509+

2020-01-31 05:00:08 UTC

lmao, yeah and about 90% of that was rebuilding already existing border.

2020-01-31 05:00:28 UTC

bear in mind congressional obstruction

2020-01-31 05:01:31 UTC

@Jokerfaic ah, here is another place where they talk about "free trade economics"
they say stuff like "these people haded any government intervention in the market, in other words they 'wanted the govenrment to protect their local market'" (the half quote part is my reading of what they say in the 2nd vid at around 4min)

2020-01-31 05:02:31 UTC

3 years of office increases border by 10 miles

2020-01-31 05:02:35 UTC

XD

Logically one assumes given the location of a vehicle barrier/pre-existing fence that it has been marked as an important location by Border Patrol. Thus it makes sense to start with ineffective fencing and move on from there.
