Much of Greece’s architecture before the stand at Thermopylae were done in imitation of the Egyptians. If you look at statues before then, you’ll see a great number of them take from Egyptian motifs. Simple features, left foot forward, arms to the sides with clenched fists, etc.

2020-02-06 02:10:04 UTC

and many of the egyptians architecture was taken from the ancient assyrians

2020-02-06 02:10:16 UTC

Naturally.

2020-02-06 02:10:50 UTC

but assyria also traded with greece

2020-02-06 02:12:14 UTC

The reason the Greeks imitated the Egyptians because they were the dominant power at the time.

2020-02-06 02:13:20 UTC

Didn’t necessarily have to do with solely trade or cultural influences

2020-02-06 02:19:09 UTC

Trade effects culture.

2020-02-06 02:20:29 UTC

To a degree, yes.

2020-02-06 02:25:15 UTC

Look at rome.

2020-02-06 02:27:34 UTC

oh hey Trump got acquitted... who could of seen this coming...

2020-02-06 02:29:48 UTC

anyone with a working brain

2020-02-06 02:30:39 UTC

it was pointless to try without actual impeachable stuff, dems expected senate and media to their work for them

2020-02-06 02:30:49 UTC

the meme emperor wont fall that easily

2020-02-06 02:31:37 UTC

Nancy Pelosi on suicide watch- CNN probably...

2020-02-06 02:31:38 UTC

no, he wont, plus this recent attempt was pretty incompetant even by dem standards, and they think kerry is a good option....

2020-02-06 02:31:42 UTC

When's the New Hampshire caucus?

2020-02-06 02:32:12 UTC

btw did they declare the winner for the dems Iowa caucuses?

2020-02-06 02:32:50 UTC

Bootyjudge is ahead but last i heard the full results still werent in.

2020-02-06 02:33:54 UTC

somewhere somehow, the DNC is prepping a screwjob

2020-02-06 02:34:40 UTC

It's funny, bootyjudge is ahead in Iowa but bernie has the popular vote.

2020-02-06 02:34:54 UTC

this sounds awfully familiar

2020-02-06 02:36:07 UTC

Yep

2020-02-06 02:36:23 UTC

also whoever the dems put in charge of the Iowa caucuses should fired for incompetence... or does the DNC consider that racist?

2020-02-06 03:10:51 UTC

@saru_richard competence is oppressive to those who lack conviction or talent, perhaps it was a ploy to not trigger their voting base. If things start going well for them they might start thinking something is wrong

2020-02-06 05:23:49 UTC

trump shouldve given the Tuskegee airman the medal of freedom, not rush limbarg

2020-02-06 05:24:55 UTC

as far as i understand Rush made political talk a thing.

2020-02-06 05:25:32 UTC

if it weren't for him there would be no political talk shows, because he was the one who did it first at the level we have now.

2020-02-06 05:26:28 UTC

<:Doubt:588038713938804760>

2020-02-06 05:28:00 UTC

I think it was bill whittle that said it outright not to long ago.

2020-02-06 05:29:21 UTC

ah, here it is.

2020-02-06 05:30:32 UTC

lol im not that old

2020-02-06 05:30:35 UTC

XD

2020-02-06 05:30:48 UTC

so you are just saying things and assumeing them true.

2020-02-06 05:32:01 UTC

I'm saying there were plenty of political radio hosts before he was even born, and to say that the concept of giving one's opinion on political events on radio came from him is ridiculous...
