simply bruh

2020-02-15 02:51:58 UTC

I was in no way participating in "PC culture" with my use of "they"
infact use of pronouns for my own ease is likely one of the most anti PC things I could do short of buying a macbook (that last bit is a joke)

2020-02-15 02:52:23 UTC

I wasn't implying that, simply making a statement

2020-02-15 02:52:31 UTC

ok then

2020-02-15 02:53:33 UTC

@Aldomuz industrial society and it's consequences have been a disaster tbh

2020-02-15 02:53:55 UTC

Could you explain yourself a bit more

2020-02-15 02:53:55 UTC

also atheism

2020-02-15 02:54:02 UTC

Be specific.

2020-02-15 02:54:22 UTC

yah you are gonna need to be alot more secific when you say "industrial society is a disaster"

2020-02-15 02:54:55 UTC

also be ready to be dog piled on said topic because i'm quite sure all of us are enjoying the consequences of industry.

2020-02-15 02:55:43 UTC

I'm partly le ebin memimg

2020-02-15 02:55:54 UTC

Well.. we're *post*-industrial so...

2020-02-15 02:56:06 UTC

It's the first sentence to ted kazinskis book

2020-02-15 02:56:20 UTC

I'm doing a huge paper on this shit btw

2020-02-15 02:56:36 UTC

Been thinking of it and it all comes down to education

2020-02-15 02:57:50 UTC

Students don't receive life value from school > feel cheated > repeat mistakes of parents and the past

2020-02-15 02:58:01 UTC

Materialism is probably a better word for the degradation of society rather than just industrialism, though we might see some of the biggest spike in materialism during that time

2020-02-15 02:58:57 UTC

Well, traditionally it's the parents' responsibility for the rearing of their children- though, ultimately, I think we more agree on that thought than not. @Aldomuz

2020-02-15 02:59:32 UTC

It's a catch-22.

2020-02-15 02:59:46 UTC

How are future parents to know right or wrong if 50%+ didn't bloody have any?

2020-02-15 03:00:05 UTC

That's *why* it's a catch-22.

2020-02-15 03:00:11 UTC

something worth thinking about is how often people hurt themselfs dispite how much effort goes into safty features, I'm not even sure how responcible the buisness were for the lack of safty in the industrial revolution.
though you could say that some of them were knowingly throwing their men into the meatgrinder for profit i'm sure plenty of the danger was just because workers were being dumb-butts

2020-02-15 03:00:33 UTC

Either way I'm working on my own version of edu

2020-02-15 03:01:05 UTC

One that utilizes some legit subjects of the current system, but is ultimately modernized and useful

2020-02-15 03:02:04 UTC

some of the work was just hard dangerous work by its nature, such as working in steam locomotives, you are hucking coal into a highpressure steam boiler with plenty of steam pipes in the cab with you that if they pop you are cooked alive before you can blink, there is nothing you can do with the tech of the time to make that safe.

2020-02-15 03:02:08 UTC

This videos kinda epic

2020-02-15 03:02:40 UTC

Anyway it involves the basic idea of this

2020-02-15 03:03:14 UTC

@ARockRaider no ones talking about safety bro

2020-02-15 03:03:45 UTC

I referenced a book by a luddite terrorist

2020-02-15 03:03:46 UTC

oh, I thought that was the largest complaint of the industrial revolution

2020-02-15 03:03:54 UTC

Elementary teachers basic skills and life skills. Fundamental maths, reading, writing, science, and some history

2020-02-15 03:04:27 UTC

Middle school can build upon previously established skills and go into more advanced studies

2020-02-15 03:04:47 UTC

High school is career oriented so you can actually discover your profession

2020-02-15 03:05:09 UTC

College is more in depth pursuit of said career field so it's not a waste of money

2020-02-15 03:05:29 UTC

And you can live without it

2020-02-15 03:06:08 UTC

Currently working on more specifics but coming up with shit for 12 grade levels isnt easy

2020-02-15 03:07:06 UTC

Did you unironically describe what school is like we're retarded

2020-02-15 03:07:41 UTC

Sargonites are morons man

2020-02-15 03:08:09 UTC

no they described what they think school should be like insted of 18+ years of the same crap.

2020-02-15 03:08:19 UTC

It literally is
