What's wrong with the electoral college?
States that are salty about states getting actual representation in a constitutional Republic have formed the "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC)" to award all their state's electoral votes to the *national* popular vote winner.
They're doing this with the assumption that it will restore power to the voter - when in reality they're sacrificing their state's representation in a national election.
Some people don't like the electoral college.
I think it is a very needed thing.
If Trump wins the popular vote, you'll see states in the NPVIC - majority democrat - be forced to cast their votes to Trump.
That's how you get a McGovern election in 2020.

My money would be on them backing out of any compact as soon as the outcome isn't what they want.
I have no doubt they'll challenge the constitutional legitimacy of their own legislation once they lose.

if i were going to say the electoral college had any problems it's that state level puts to much power in the cities
so it should be brought down to Town level
or the states should have an electoral college that is then passed through the state to the federal level
another good example of why an electoral college is better then the other options, if someone rigs an election in a city or state no one else needs to care, the people who are against the ones who riged the election are the ones who are upset about it.
(for example, I don't care that the Dems are rigging their primaries, i'm not gonna vote for any of them anyways, i'm just gonna point that action out to discreddit the Dems)
