I've had this conversation multiple times. America was not built under radical individualism, but individualism under a racial collective. @Captain
> Where was there ever a confederacy of republics united as these states are...or, in which the people were so drawn together by religion, blood, language, manners, and customs.

The thing is with the United States of America is that while we have a “individualistic” culture. We also have a military culture and a culture for hierarchy

Peace Through Superior Firepower.
@Monstrous Moonshine I've also heard that response. I've spoken to a few hundred discord users who align themselves on the dissident/alt right. If you're ever on voice we can talk about this further. I just realized we've been talking all this time in a memes channel
Also America has a sense of a collective
We do have a sense of being a nation
Like we talk about the settlers and the colonists
Who formed communities
these beans are for the beaners
But to quickly summarize - not only were blacks in the United States as slaves, but they also existed as free men and as property owners before the civil war. Many of whom owned property. They could move/emmigrate to the united states freely @Monstrous Moonshine
Look at the American immigration act pre 1800
@Captain And the Founders were looking for ways to send them back to Africa, "beyond the reach of admixture"
@Monstrous Moonshine The founders also spoke of the "stock of abraham" and their resistance on letting in germans, celtics, and slavs
Their vision of America was less racial and more ethnic
The founders were correct to be concerned about mass German migration
