I still hold that the guy is smurfing and is actually a big writer

But a rundown is that an (anti?)memetic agent was discovered and the O5 unanimously decided that the destruction of humanity was the correct course of action

So the logs cover a guy who managed to escape the onslaught with the help of SCP 5000 which is actually a suit that protects him

it became cringe when the directors/doctors were added and people started basically writing themselves(even if under unnmaed characters) into the stories

And he tries to figure out what is happening as he travels across the country from site 19 to scp 573 or whatever one it is to reset the timeline

5 of those people

It’s not nearly as prevalent as you think

the fact that they got in is still the problem, basically everyone read those OC self inserts and went "this is fine"

The thing is that they’re not direct self inserts

They have defining character traits

They’re more characters in universe with a couple features related to the authors rather than direct carbon copy self inserts

Doctor bright for example

Is literally a fucking SCP

And has a fleshed out story and defined character traits

And canonically they make sense

Why would the writers on the site not be actual people in universe

Since the people in universe are supposed to be the ones writing them
