Like I said, I wouldn't have even called the police.
@Jeremy It's not perception bias at all, because I've been shown plenty of other situations where I myself considered the use of force to be lawful. Even when it resulted in the death of an innocent civilian.
But there's only so far ones "understanding" should go. There are limits.
And the idiots skulking in the backyard, and the Ben Shapiro-motherfucker at the hotel definitely crossed the line on both accounts.
Dead commies make me smile @BabaBooey
Duality of man
I would've opened fire on him, myself.
This is why civilians should also take more responsibility to defend themselves.
Whole mag, because fuck it
That neighbor who called the police out, he should've been armed and checked out his neighbors home, never calling the police.
The person who reported the male with a rifle in the window, at the hotel, should've opened fire on the person in the window.
Police never should've been involved to begin with.
@Jeremy Yes but what you do is irrelevant because you are a civilian to be tried as a civilian.
The standards for how a cop behave is and SHOULD BE higher, being the "trained professional".
He should know more human psychology before taking on the job.
while the victim was an idiot, the "cop" was obviously not suitable to be in law enforcement, one mild case and he suddenly is scarred for life
it was even a shooting or an obvious critical situation
But this is what happens when the State gets more and more involved, as the public relinquishes more and more responsibility.
You now have a collective identity to which you can ascribe attribution for mistakes, rather than individuals.
That's another issue.
@Jeremy Also I disagree with you shooting them yourself.
Self defense only applies when a threat is directed at you personally.
Simply seeing a person on a balcony with a rifle is not a warrant for executing them on the spot.
No, it does not.
Self-defense applies whenever you have reason to fear for your life.
an US civil war would be great
You can't have a 2nd amendment protecting civilians right to own and carry firearms, while at the same time treating every single individual with a gun you see as a dangerous terrorist directly threatening your life or the life of others.
In the instance of someone hanging a rifle outside of a hotel window, atop a parking lot for which you are walking, you absolutely have every reason to fear for your life and open fire.
@Jeremy In a country where people are legally allowed to own and carry firearms, even in public? 🤔
In that circumstance, yes you can.
@Jeremy Sounds more to me like you're too dangerous and unstable to be allowed to live in the U.S to be honest
Ok tree hugger
Go put some flowers in your beard
If you wanna have a country where people can own guns, then you need to take a fucking chill pill when you actually see people carrying guns
There's nothing "chill" about someone hanging a rifle out of a hotel window, and you know it.
"Chill out bro, it's just a rifle barrel. This is america, people stick them out of their hotel rooms all the time"
You don't know what he was aiming at or shooting at or whether he was aiming or shooting at anything at all.
that'll be three dollars and three cents please
@Seven Proxies Does it matter? Lol
Fuck I've had rifle barrels out off my balcony, and I live in Sweden.
Wasn't sniping at people, I was adjusting the crosshairs of my scope.
That is a responsibility of knowledge on part of the individual engaging in that behavior. He should have regulated himself better, knowing full well the terrorist attacks we've endured.
As have I, but not in an urban hotel.
@Jeremy So because you're paranoid of jihadis, people should have their 2nd amendment rights infringed?
In fact, the Vegas shooter killed hundreds of people from a hotel window.
Starting to sound like a Democrat now man
