how do we solve this problem?

2020-02-17 20:51:18 UTC

Why should you be in the position to begin with?

2020-02-17 20:51:39 UTC

Because of the fabric of America.

2020-02-17 20:51:42 UTC

How can WE do that?

2020-02-17 20:51:45 UTC

Why do you have to take people in in such high numbers?

2020-02-17 20:51:59 UTC

The tories seem to be as bad as labour in this regard.

2020-02-17 20:52:02 UTC

The fabric of America is Anglo-Saxon and European

2020-02-17 20:52:21 UTC

It's not African and Asian. And I'm not even an American saying this

2020-02-17 20:52:39 UTC

ehh

2020-02-17 20:52:45 UTC

It's Anglo Saxon heritage. But there is more to that.

2020-02-17 20:53:06 UTC

Yeah, German and French

2020-02-17 20:53:11 UTC

Western European

2020-02-17 20:53:24 UTC

Influence before America.

2020-02-17 20:53:26 UTC

cultures are like colours. They are distinct, but also made up of other colours.

2020-02-17 20:53:34 UTC

And you shouldn’t mix all of them

2020-02-17 20:53:35 UTC

At the start of America

2020-02-17 20:53:39 UTC

And during America

2020-02-17 20:53:51 UTC

And only recently it's experienced this change

2020-02-17 20:54:09 UTC

English common law perhaps but only basic shit like that.

2020-02-17 20:54:32 UTC

Dude, a country is more than its laws

2020-02-17 20:54:38 UTC

I predict that the internet will inevitably destroy nationalism and globalism will win the culture war

2020-02-17 20:54:55 UTC

Do you think a country is just an ideology codified in law?

2020-02-17 20:55:08 UTC

And all the people inside are just interchangeable with any other people in the world?

2020-02-17 20:55:09 UTC

Race perhaps.

2020-02-17 20:55:18 UTC

Not race

2020-02-17 20:55:20 UTC

ethnicity

2020-02-17 20:56:02 UTC

It's not just race. In Europe we have the same race but many countries and we like being separate

2020-02-17 20:56:14 UTC

Scandinavians are the same race as English people but their base culture is not the same

2020-02-17 20:56:41 UTC

In fact that even applies to english and scottish, somewhat

2020-02-17 20:57:24 UTC

I mean

2020-02-17 20:57:52 UTC

Are you gonna explain yourself or just leave that statement hanging

2020-02-17 20:58:05 UTC

A country is made of its people. And the people have a distinct history, culture, mannerisms, and yeah, genetic heritage, than other people in other countries. It's a way of a people to have a safe space where they can express their genetic potential without being ruled by other people or having to work for them in any way. There's nothing wrong with wanting any of that

2020-02-17 20:58:09 UTC

They’re both Northern European Anglo-Saxon. Any squabbles are over empirically negligible details.

depends on how far down you want to define race as <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2020-02-17 20:58:19 UTC

It's really this simple. If you call yourself your ethnicity or religion first before American and you have American citizenship. Then you should not have citizenship.

we can do genetic tests and mtdna test

2020-02-17 20:58:26 UTC

@Louis American is an ethnicity in my view.

and then we are not really the same.

2020-02-17 20:58:46 UTC

Oh is that what you were disagreeing with

2020-02-17 20:58:49 UTC

well
