what do you guys think about water purification given rain water tanks

Even if you just have enough water for 3 days, that is better than nothing.

I think you can boil the water, or maybe use some plain bleach to purify the water, don't listen to me though, do some googling

Boiling is good enough if you keep it at a rolling boil for a few minutes

If you're serious about prepping, buy a couple 55-gallon barrels, pre-treat with chlorine, install a drinking water hose, seal tight and store in your garage.

If rain water's your drinking water, store it in 55-gallon barrels, filter and sanitize, test for contaminants, and tightly seal once safe.

Filter / Chlorine will be safer and more efficient than boiling.
