Just like ups and FedEx being effectively forced to compete with usps
I see no problem.
Well- you can do like we do here in Switzerland, make healthcare mandatory, those who can't afford it get their private healthcare subsidized by the government. This keeps the companies in proper competition.
A huge problem here is pharma patents and monopolies.
Also- if they get out of hand, the government has more incentive to bitch slap the companies
My gf has an autoimmune condition that makes her skin attack itself
The medicine for it costs 1500 a month
Here
And 300 a month in DE
That's the problem here. Costs to insurers are insane.
yeah, Chronic health condition in America is bullshit, if it gets bad enough and you say- lose your job, well, pack you shit and get ready to go live under a bridge.
So to keep their funds at all functional it costs an enormous amount of money.
Most insurance plans dropped prescription meds with Obamacare
Because obamacare was a huge mistake.
Sure the expansion of free programs was nice.
Like in states with wealth to support it
That medicine she takes- is it that epinephrine shit?
I live in a state that has a functional public option for low income.
No
I know that one
Similar means of application ya? one of them pens you jam into your stomach
Prolly
It can get all the way up to 5800
A month.
retarded
Yeah
It's fucking insane.
And it's a monopoly.
But the US doesn't give a fuck. They want Healthcare for all.
In my state it is free with the publicly funded health plan for poverty line residents.
Then again were like the wealthiest state per capita
so, she actually is better off not reaching for success and maxxing her potential...
So we can afford this shit.
another example of how badly raped the middle class can get
this stupid rich/stupid poor shit needs to go
Yeah tbh until a reform happens we're considering putting her out of work
Cause it's less expensive for her to get treatment as a peasant.
Than to have an income and not qualify for state Healthcare
