Looking cool is probably the point

Who do ya'll think will be the Democrat picked by the DNC in the primaries to run against Trump?
probably harris or biden
i cant see the democrats coming together on anyone else
Jesus... you're probably right. Poor democrats.
the problem is inherent to a democratic two party system
when your base gets panicked by say an incumbent inflammatory president the vote tends to split which usually leads to your candidates sucking and the other guy winning even if one of them is the far better option
we should have a sports chat for dog and pony shows of the DNC's type 😂 <:OOF:533437462974824449>
The power of money
Whatever, commie
I meant it as in: businesses are shaped by the environment they operate in
True enough, but lemme raise you this: **people** are shaped by the environment they operate in, and businesses are shaped by the people who operate them.
I'm just being semantic, though
Yeah that's a way of going more in-depth with it
Businesses are shaped by the people of whom are shaped by the environment both the people and companies reside in
In other words if their customers are LGBT, their inage will be LGBT themed; if their customers are outdoorsey their image will be outdoorsey (gun/hunting stores, bass pro shops etc) + so on and so forth
@ThatPreciseBloke i wonder how good the outdorsey pro-gun pro-drug pro-lgbt market is
About as intact as the divide between the hunting/survivalist types and the "spirit walking" sections is haha
Well it more than just the environment
Companies at the end of the day care about one thing
That’s gaining the most money that they can get
This they’ll do anything to gain it
No they wont
Name one company that doesn’t
That’s not backed by the government
Bill gates hasn't invested in herion
damage to the enviroment damages other people's property, making them liable
@💲 Derpy Ⓐ is the liability a major detraction from sales
If not
not only that but the top 20% make 80% of the donations to charities
Then they’ll do gladly
it is a major distraction of sales and can be huge fines
Some businesses got to violent means but most are content just turning an honest profit
It's just not worth the risk most of the time
@Ê€eaper business and company are two different things
and if its a big enough issue to customers, it can be boycotted, most buisnesses dont make a big margin, so it wont take much
Boycotts will do nothing if the police are payed by the company
get rid of the government
