I think you're right. But you can also get fat from other things. That actor who played Harry Potter's uncle in the movies (shit movies but the guy seems decent) was VERY thin as a boy. He had a fast metablosim and couldn't put on weight. So his mom went to a doctor and the doctor destroyed one of his glands and he gained hundreds of pounds in a matter of weeks. So shit like that can happen too.
