alright
and our tools are much lighter weight and require way less overhead than typical of compression tools
what are the dimensions of that oven?
i think width wise we've got like 12 feet
some of our customer's parts are wider than our oven so we actually overlap pieces sometimes to make it work
big oven
incase of f.e. those windmill blades, do you fit the entire part in at once?
or is the oven moved along it length wise or something?
can't remember what they did for those
okok
i think they scrapped the tools
but they were very large
cause length seems like the biggest issue there :P
like 15 feet by 8 feet or something
and even then they might have been only a portion of the blade
not sure
project never got off the ground
ok
yeah in sections maybe
we currently make dome pieces for a photo dome
yes sir
ah wow
we saved this guy's project
he initially went to someone else because our price was $30k higher
they paid someone else like $50k and got nothing out of it because their parts didnt work
then when they only had a few weeks left to finish their project and basically no money we still did it for them and they loved the parts
they still payed you guys i hope
yeah but we did it for peanuts
but we secured the business of a bunch of other projects they've done since then
and we now make almost all the other parts of their projects
we've basically weaseled our way into making almost every structural component
they have like 1000 wood pieces they need for each dome and we now make all of them
hahah, alright thats good
always interesting to learn about manufacturing processes like this
so much going into creating the stuff we have all around us
yeah it really opens your eyes to how much specialization is needed to create the world we take for granted
every tiny little object or service is surrounded by an industry and people with years of experience doing extremely specific tasks and niggers
and niggers
what did he mean by this
