i was watching "when we left earth" last night, history of the American space program. average age of capcom workers was 26 in the 60s. back then smart guys could go to college and work at NASA and have a family and smoke cigars every time there was any kind of success. try doing that now. that's why this guy has a star wars tattoo in honor of his wife's son. everything sucks and regular people cope by identifying with fantasy bullshit that keeps them from focusing on this dying country that's lost its industry.
