Which is retarded because when they invaded only 17% of the population were ethnically Turkish
Even right now, there are roughly 650000 Greek Cypriots to Turkish Cypriots.
*150000
Lol that's fuckin' nuts. I know blacks aren't African, but that is like Africa invading the US because 13% of the population is black.
That's also why they've been deploying troops into northern Syria, since there's an ethnic minority of Turkic tribesmen there.
They were likely hoping Syria would collapse entirely so they could annex it.
The Turks aren’t to be trusted
And then they wonder why Christians were fighting the Crusades
Honestly, giving Cyprus to Greece would be better for everyone because Greece’s economy can be revitalised and everyone in Europe can benefit from Greece.
Yeah Cyprus has a lot of tourism potential, which could help with it's prolonged debt crisis
Exactly
Cyprus could be great but it cannot sustain itself as an independent state, nor can it sustain itself under the control of globalist Greece.
But tbh Turkey is by far the worst option geopolitically speaking because the Turks are just gonna use the oil money to fuck everyone over.
Look at the spending, debt, and GDP as base metrics
Like macroeconomically speaking
Those are the big ones
But it’s a bit more complicated than that
You’ve gotta look at state-specific tax rates, financial self-sufficiency, etc.
Average income rates in different areas
It’s actually funny because if you look at heavily blue states, especially the ones like CA, they have a much shorter bell curve when it comes to average income after tax.
To sorta unpack that
I am of the opinion that economics is in its infancy, and needs a lot of perfection.
More people make shit money, the middle class is very limited, and the rich are very rich.
I think some people understand certain markets, but the world is big
All true
Whereas a place like NYC
I'm going to screenshot that to remember. @Coltwind thx!!!
Even though it is rife with poverty
And does have some Democratic Party initiatives
Fiscally, it’s relatively centrist
So even in NYC, the middle class is a lot bigger.
I personally think that you have to look at the sizes of the various classes (judges by income) by population size to assess economic prosperity for people.
Like
Where I live (Australia), our middle class is fucking massive.
and factor in stuff like cost of living?
Don’t get me wrong, our lower class is bigger but not by much.
Well not really imo
Like the minimum cost of living is important
But when you’re comparing the three major income classes, the cost of living is different for each
Like I may choose to buy a $5 million house if I’m upper class and that would significantly raise the cost of living but if you’re lower class you can’t do that
