Both the neoliberal media and the right are confused of the problems in the world, so instead they use identity politics to blame it on a certain group of people instead of the system itself. Nationalism is distraction away from reality and follows petty idealism and thinking that only one group of people belong to their own countries. Nationalists often claim that nationalism protects tradition however this is a blatant lie as we could see that nobody in Nazi Germany and Italy has nostalgia, however in Russia people are very nostalgic for the USSR. Socialism protects tradition, nationalism destroys it. Both the right and the neoliberals are NPCs.
