So right now the USA has an issue because Medicaid / Medicare / SS are pretty broken since the number of Recipients > the number of Workers

High skilled immigration would probably disincentivize native citizens from perusing high skilled training, because immigrant labor is cheaper

So more workers will add revenue to that program thus solving that issue

So now, because locals aren't looking for training, your education market collapses

not really as most immigration to the US now is low to no skill workers that you have trow a LOT of money on before they get useful
