There is a idea that’s been in my head and I kinda want to share it, but basically it’s the idea that nation states are just super organisms that fight for their collective survival

@snake that's pretty much the history of nations. They are founded upon religious idealism and morals of varying types through the ages.
by that understanding, the whole "warring pantheons of gods/religions" of ancient times makes a lot more sense in a pretty neat way
Gods, by that sense, functionally serve as collective memetic manifestations of their people's ideals and will via theological persona
