yes, but i don't want to live in a society with people who have low in grp pref and don't adhere to axioms of survival and wellbeing before other things, so whether or not it is autocratic, repub etc. is irrelevant really, but republicanism will always create a safeguard against corruption and the possibility of that one leader ruining things so it's preferable
