Can't they put nutrients into her bloodstream directly or something
She rates of survival are good. Keep seeing her and supporting her.
she still gets some nausea but it wasn't as bad as when we took her into the hospital
That's what they've been doing I'm guessing
so I am thinking that I should take her the fuck out of Canada
because these doctors suck nuts
at the very least because she doesn't like Canada
What about a different hospital
I don't mind living in South America or something
Don't be crazy
I think I'm gonna try harder to stop smoking
@Hector why do you think her rate of survival is good?
All this cancer talk is spooky
I feel like Canadian doctors are prob better than south american doctors tbh
nah, the spoopy bit is that Cancer is genetic
wait actually... none of her parents had stomach cancer
Really
which is the really odd bit
so I am thinking it was caused by an ulcer
Cancer is caused by environmental factors as much as genetics and inhaling carcinogens cant help at all
nah my mom doesn't smoke
she had a stomach ulcer that was operated in May
That must be a special type of cancer then. Most cancers are almost entirely environmental
but they never found any cancer
I was referring to my need to stop smoking but yeah I know
I googled the survival rates. From what I can tell, she is not stage 1, but her survival rate is probably 60% or higher if she ovary tumors are not cancerous which probably says a lot about the cancer.
Or I didn't know she wasn't a smoker I just assumed smoking wasn't related to stomach cancer
i was told that there's a possibility i'd develop the same stomach cancer too
there are lots of things which cause cancer
some of it is caused by a virus or bacteria
which is why cancer has never been cured
it is a catch all term
and because of how it spreads it probably can't be cured
Faith is really important for times like this. I won't quote any studies, but people need something to anchor to this reality.
at best it will become something like Diabetes
which can be managed with drugs and treatment
I'm a biology major. I know about cancer. Her chances are pretty good, my guy.
hey if you say so dude
yes, you must find strength in something and transfer it to your mum
