2019-10-26 23:26:55 UTC

2019-10-26 23:27:00 UTC

amerimutt moment id say

2019-10-26 23:27:05 UTC

you should get comfortable with credit card, the rewards are too good to pass up

2019-10-26 23:27:12 UTC

On a few occasions in my life I have been thriftless and extravagant and I don't want to put myself in that position

2019-10-26 23:27:15 UTC

that's pretty shitty tbh, but it probably is a good reflection of maturity

2019-10-26 23:27:22 UTC

high credit score, I mean

2019-10-26 23:27:29 UTC

yeah mine is like 840

2019-10-26 23:27:31 UTC

credit score

2019-10-26 23:27:38 UTC

Do you have no credit if you've never had a credit card?

2019-10-26 23:27:49 UTC

yes

2019-10-26 23:27:50 UTC

Mine is 720ish, been repairing since my early 20s

2019-10-26 23:27:53 UTC

basically yes

2019-10-26 23:27:54 UTC

you dont have one

2019-10-26 23:28:03 UTC

buuut the problem is if you have a credit card you have to use it at least once a while

2019-10-26 23:28:06 UTC

Having no credit hurts your credit score

2019-10-26 23:28:12 UTC

no history I mean

2019-10-26 23:28:13 UTC

I thought it was just something the government kept track of based on your electronic financial transactions in general tbh

2019-10-26 23:28:16 UTC

so it's probably shit

2019-10-26 23:28:19 UTC

if you never taken credit

2019-10-26 23:28:20 UTC

or else they cancel it automatically and hurts your credit score

2019-10-26 23:28:23 UTC

your credit score is based on 3 things primarily. 1. ontime payments. 2. debt/credit ratio. 3. age of accounts

2019-10-26 23:28:32 UTC

do those 3 things you're golden

2019-10-26 23:28:41 UTC

so actually if you want a higher credit score, always ask for credit limit increase

2019-10-26 23:28:44 UTC

I have one account with $5,000 and I've never taken anything out of it

2019-10-26 23:28:54 UTC

so then youre $200 balance on $20,000 in credit is nothing

2019-10-26 23:29:02 UTC

My other two accounts are like fair game
