that's the value of depression

2019-11-22 14:56:18 UTC

fuguer sounds easier then it is

2019-11-22 14:56:22 UTC

I climbed mt Whitney last year

2019-11-22 14:56:40 UTC

@fuguer ok boomer

2019-11-22 14:56:46 UTC

Yeah it may not be easy but it’s possible

2019-11-22 14:57:07 UTC

I dont want to hear about endless possibilities from a dude who married an Asian not gonna front

2019-11-22 14:57:07 UTC

comfort breeds weakness

2019-11-22 14:57:24 UTC

That was my choice you can make different ones

2019-11-22 14:57:36 UTC

But it’s a cope to just say life is depressing

2019-11-22 14:57:44 UTC

Your choice is also to sit on adderall and anti depressants

2019-11-22 14:57:45 UTC

You can change your life. May not be easy but you can

2019-11-22 14:57:56 UTC

So evidently your life choices dont matter as much as drugs do

2019-11-22 14:58:14 UTC

Drugs are one way to change your perspective

2019-11-22 14:58:19 UTC

Not the only way

2019-11-22 14:58:29 UTC

Right, so you can do it without them?

2019-11-22 14:58:49 UTC

shiddded pisssddd and commdd

2019-11-22 14:58:51 UTC

Yes I was married and had six figure jobs without any drugs

2019-11-22 14:59:00 UTC

But were you happy?

2019-11-22 14:59:18 UTC

Material wealth does not imply prosperity

2019-11-22 14:59:38 UTC

No. Adderall helped me focus on fixing my problems rather than wasting time playing games or other distractions

2019-11-22 14:59:41 UTC

I find this overt optimism disturbing. You create problems for yourself when you desire things that you don't have. If you accept life for what it is, there are no problems.

2019-11-22 14:59:51 UTC

That’s Buddhism

2019-11-22 14:59:57 UTC

I'm basically a Buddhist.

2019-11-22 15:00:03 UTC

I see the complete rejection of desire as a rejection of life

2019-11-22 15:00:10 UTC

happy is not the final goal or destination. This is the idealism of the consumer materialist brain washed by edward burnays.

2019-11-22 15:00:24 UTC

I think that philosophy makes sense of your a poor peasant in the 12th century

2019-11-22 15:00:24 UTC

joo

2019-11-22 15:00:27 UTC

So if you cant do it without any chemicals dilating your reality and your perception of it dont be a boomer to me about how I should just change my life

2019-11-22 15:00:33 UTC

But today we have a lot of options to change our life

2019-11-22 15:01:00 UTC

If your life is depressing you should change it

2019-11-22 15:01:33 UTC

And if you’re a NEET or miserable you should be waking up every day like your life is an emergency and try to solve the problem

2019-11-22 15:01:44 UTC

Contentment is far more valuable and can be an attainable goal through balanced life

2019-11-22 15:01:46 UTC

Not just accept it

2019-11-22 15:01:49 UTC

happiness is a drug

2019-11-22 15:02:02 UTC

I've done a shitload of good in my life considering the hand I was dealt. I'm going to keep going, naturally. But that doesnt mean that doing any of it will bring me any joy. I'm sacrificing all of myself for a future where I can possibly have a family and give my all to my kids and wife. If I cant have that I will just give my all to my parents.

2019-11-22 15:02:15 UTC

I'm not a neet

2019-11-22 15:02:20 UTC

Good

2019-11-22 15:02:28 UTC

I find that another way to change your mindset is to travel
If you travel for 1 month throughout India,
you'll have too much to think about than to focus on your life problems.. booking your hotel, finding and booking buses to your next city, overnight train traveling.. etc..
Also you'll see plenty of people who are REALLY in need.. and that all of the problems you thought were important, really are insignificant.

2019-11-22 15:02:41 UTC

Yeah sometimes life takes sacrifice but you should see a goal at the end that is happy and motivates you
