I would imagine that the majority of people change their demeanour and many change their tone, expressions and vocabulary around certain groups of people to try to fit in

and I'd say this has the contrary effect of creating relationships with people with whom individuals are not compatible and driving away individuals they are more compatible with when putting on this show
