Georgian really would make for nice homes too
Idk in my mind, for every sort of human organisation and activity, there is almost an ideal sort of architecture style for housing it
Baroque for the big art halls and museums, gothic for the churches, neoclassical for minor administrative centres and homes, georgian for the schools, etc;
I'm sure I could make a big list but it's just a general idea in my head
interesting
Just as a general rule I guess, buildings should be beautiful and befitting their purpose and only the most exceptional should be greater than 200 metres tall
The tallest building in any community should be it's Church
LOL
this guy built himself a castle in Texas

That's not that bad lol
that looks like a psycho-killer's lair

oh and beyond just buildings
cities should be designed to incentivise pedestrian foot traffic and discourage motor vehicle traffic
urban areas should be limited in size and lively
lined with gardens and seating areas
monuments, statues, etc;
and decorative street lamps
leaf is gonna be a future state architect
Probably not
My ideas would be very expensive and white people aren't allowed to have nice things anymore
i will make you mine

oh and there should be paths throughout every urban area that lead through forested areas and parks
every park should have at it's centre either great fountains or monuments
so many that one could walk through the city while scarcely seeing urbanisation
paths that lead along bodies of water should be developed with piers and stone paths and seating areas
and other than that, along such trails, no signs of human development should be visible
so that urbanites can appreciate and enjoy nature as well
You should be able to cross from one side of a city to the next without ever crossing an inter-section, a major street or encountering a vehicle
utopia

wha?
with the developments that we have now
cities are of dubious worth
we no longer need to be in proximity to transfer information or coordinate work effectively
