there have been examples of brilliant people with some pretty crazy ideas
or ideas that would seem crazy to us
like newton
I had a friend who was big into some out there "motivational" type stuff like NLP
And he told me this concept called "personal mythology"
Which is like a heuristic worldview you emotionally identify with to motivate your actions semi-consciously or half-consciously
she works in a hair salon. i've dated hair stylists, and aestheticians, and this is par for the course.
Like how people pick an avatar and surround themselves with symbols, that's "personal mythology"
This girl sounds just like she's confusing her personal mythology for outer reality
yeah, i guess, but it's related to some sort of community
ah, yes
If you find people to validate you in your delusions you can sustain them
That's the tricky thing about people who are psychologically not quite right
Usually they have people, either who they can bully easily to get their agreement or who enable them for other reasons
And if you have a lot of people agreeing with you and flattering you about Prince the Purple One and his angelic powers or whatever
You're disincentivized to listen to the ugly but necessary signal about objective reality
You need to fly to texas and save Ms. Pritchard @TuerSchlossEnteiser
i'm sure she would like germany
??
installing bars across the doors?
they are labeling and barring the doors of the infected
yah
Damn
is this disturbing?
dystopian?
no
i wasn't asking libertarians
Communal singing is based imo
But maybe less wholesome if you're forced to do so by your tyrannical communist government
how would ancapistan handle a global plague?
isn't it up to the community
same way as a state but with more steps
achooooooooooooooooooooooooo*
im snoooozing
