Mechs have a lot more ground pressure, slower, a larger target, cannot carry as powerful weaponry and can’t carry as much armor
The only real advantage is that because it’s higher up you can get a better view of the area and you can shot down at people and maybe a fear factor
Also that bipedal movement mightbe more intuitive if you don't drive a mech but use your mind or whatever
