Respect for monarchy and the natural order

2020-01-31 17:49:36 UTC

This is what it looks like to cultivate a conservative culture

2020-01-31 17:50:04 UTC

Okay, I get it. I can see those themes as being NRX I suppose.

2020-01-31 17:50:10 UTC

Narnia > LoTR btw

2020-01-31 17:50:36 UTC

Agreed as well, Narnia is a little more on the nose

2020-01-31 17:51:26 UTC

I was thinking about doing a children book series with animals too

2020-01-31 17:51:54 UTC

Cautionary tale about sneaky Kangaroo

2020-01-31 17:52:41 UTC

All the animal learning lessons from the hijinks of these naughty sneaky little Roos

2020-01-31 17:53:36 UTC

I’ve never read any of the Narnia books but I do remember the movie resonating with me as a kid

2020-01-31 17:53:45 UTC

In one story the Roo was crying out in pain as it tries to drown a Dingo

2020-01-31 17:54:16 UTC

Definitely wish my Mother made me read those instead of Harry Potter

2020-01-31 17:54:22 UTC

Nah i think stories like King Arthur are a great representation for little kids.

2020-01-31 17:55:04 UTC

Also what makes little kids read harry potter?.

2020-01-31 17:55:12 UTC

Don't understand that reasoning.

2020-01-31 17:55:37 UTC

For me it was peer pressure

2020-01-31 17:56:04 UTC

Every kid I knew read them and so did all my siblings

2020-01-31 17:56:13 UTC

Mhm, same here.

2020-01-31 17:56:16 UTC

I figured they must be good

2020-01-31 17:56:37 UTC

Its ridiculous, Not only that i see that alot of LGBTQ fans love the books for some reason.

2020-01-31 17:56:48 UTC

Makes one think...............

2020-01-31 17:56:50 UTC

@Canadian Man I found one illustrated King Aurther book that looked pretty good for older children. Do you know any good Knights of the Round Table book series for little ones? I've been researching this recently.

2020-01-31 17:57:11 UTC

Yes, They are quite interesting reads.

2020-01-31 17:57:21 UTC

I’ve never met an adult man who still reads Harry Potter, it’s always young women

2020-01-31 17:57:28 UTC

I read king Arthur as a little lad in Kindergarten..

2020-01-31 17:58:06 UTC

I once knew a girl in my college English course who refused to marry her fiancé until he had read the entire collection cover to cover

2020-01-31 17:58:13 UTC

Gfg

2020-01-31 17:58:22 UTC

Girls go crazy over these books

2020-01-31 17:58:26 UTC

Yes, I also watched that to.

2020-01-31 17:58:44 UTC

And yes it is a great movie for younglings.

2020-01-31 17:59:03 UTC

Even though it has a Female protagantast.

2020-01-31 17:59:07 UTC

A gay man in my old office was a Harry Potter fanatic and even had his own wand.

2020-01-31 17:59:24 UTC

You know what, Bring back stories of old.

2020-01-31 17:59:32 UTC

Get rid of "Modern age" Shite.

2020-01-31 17:59:50 UTC

Like Harry Potter, its complete garbage.

2020-01-31 18:00:58 UTC

I misremembered, my mother was actually one of those women who thought Harry Potter was satanic. She wasn’t exactly wrong

2020-01-31 18:01:21 UTC

Mhm.

2020-01-31 18:01:40 UTC

I mean, there’s a certain extent to which one is obligated to partake in the broader culture of his peers

2020-01-31 18:01:56 UTC

Potter isn’t terrible in itself

2020-01-31 18:02:35 UTC

Nah, If one is not to become tainted by this "Culture", He is supposed abstain from these kinds of "Decadent" Plays.

2020-01-31 18:02:46 UTC

It has no soul to it, there’s nothing below the surface or transcendent about it

2020-01-31 18:03:05 UTC

It’s a fairytale in the most juvenile sense
