I wanted to read it when I was a little kid but I was put off by the length and never read it
I still think there is some value in reading them, not any literary value but knowing the terms and themes that everyone else of your generation thinks in.
I read them all in the 4th grade, all my teachers kept telling me to read them so I did. I didn’t then or now know anyone that’s read them.
