Some Catholics I have talked to hold his bible translation in fairly high regard

There’s an LCMS church just down the road from my neighborhood block I think

@Argent7771 Unlike what some trads proclaim, Luther did keep the deuterocanonical books in his first edition of the Bible

The issue is the revision he did to faith alone

But his translation is seen as being better than a number of the modern ones

Luther also apparently never removed them (though I’ve heard from the Caths that he was “thinking about it” or “going to”)

I see a lot of bashing of Protestant churches for their degeneracy and fakeness

imo it's the people's fault

Tbf I don’t disagree with the notion that our churches and our leaders are corrupt and degenerate

since they aren't even following the doctrine

But that *isn’t a Prot issue alone*

That’s my main problem with trads

They make Protestantism out to be full of corruption and immorality when Catholicism is practically the same way when it comes to certain issues and actions

most Popes after ww2 were pretty bad

the trads are kinda of a seperate denomination within the church

and that's kind of an understatement
