That's how they justify it.
Any sort of corporal punishment, no matter how benign, is also considered an offense that can get your kids taken away in Norway.
The fact that the two usually go hand in hand doesn't help things.
Depressingly, its not gandi.
Its mostly atheistic yobs, the kind youd see at a footie game making England an embarrassmeny and collectively dropping IQ points per pint of cheap lager.
Chavs too
Its not quite that strict here but its close with regards to punishing your child
And that's not to mention that an increasing amount of people are advocating for this kind of stuff. If the next generation holds these views, then it doesn't matter what wouldn't pass right now.
Just look at the massive shift from the 50's to the 70's
The generation coming after me is right wing and traditionalist as they come, almost making up for the ridiculous lefty nonesense my generation has become known for.
Where do you live?
South of England
In a fairly rural city
Population is split between students, middled aged middle class and elderly upper class
The new wave of super young that I'm meeting in the area make me look like a centrist
Although like every bundle of sticks theres the odd ones out
I saw the article about Norway's Christian indoctrination thing and I'm certain that it's evangelical propaganda. If you look at the case, the children called CPS. Spanking was the least of physical abuses they endured. And their uncle also said that [their parents] shook the youngest sibling "like a ragdoll".
Heck, the main problem wasn't even Christian teaching. One of the teachers said that they had an extreme fear of hell
Which case are you talking about?
The only one that seems to pick on Google
The Bordnarui's?
Yes
Okay, well, the first thing is that the kids didn't call CPS, the principle of their school did, I'm not sure where you're getting that.
I'm not sure about the uncle thing either, but the actions directly identified by the children themselves were: ear pulling, spanking, and, at worst, a slap across the back of the head.
Weird, the source "Romanian Journal" seems to be broken
Let me check again
Well, in any case, they eventually returned the children and admitted they were wrong about everything, but only 'after' the case became a national issue.
Anyway, I gotta go.
hey
Hey
