What are your thoughts on Albanians more on the Christian ones near montengero
Albaniaposting is a great page for memes
Albanians, ehh they are like the rest of balkans. But they do really love to brag about how liberal and secular they are lmao.
But the more Christians the better, so Christian Albanians are quite great
@buka thanks man, that's great to hear I'm my self a catholic albanian
Mmm great. M8
@whitewolf are there more orthodox Albanians or Catholic ones?
I can see how orthodoxy wouldn't be popular because if serbs
*of
@buka only in the very south of the country near greece, but compared to Catholics, more than catholic i would say yes
Oh interesting
Catholic albanians are like 10% in Albania and orthodox 10% or 15
% more or less
Most Albanians are seculars, yep?
That's what I heard at least
In Albania yes,thankful
@buka Kosovo not so much
Kosovo albo are border line neoottoman
Well, not surprised. In cases of disputed territories people living there seem to be very Nationalistic/religious
Same thing in Armenia's karabagh
Still kinda support Serbia more in the whole Kosovo situation. I'm Georgian and here we have a similar situation with Abkhazia and Samachablo
@buka yeah they are very conservative with Sunni islan there a nostalgia for the ottoman unfortunately
peace has cost them their strength
Lmao imagine being non-turkish and being nostalgic about the ottoman empire
imagine being a secularist instead
clearly one is more of a power move
Maybe maybe
Yeah lol, the bosnians are like that as well with ottomans
Bosniaks are truly strange lmao
Before islamisation they were Christians and had quite deep ties with serbs
Ethnically speaking they both are also quite close
True
The language is allmost the same as serbian
Maybe without Islam, those two would be together lmao. Here we have lazi people, a Georgian sub-ethnic group, which live in modern turkey. They got assimilated by Turks botnculture and religious wise, but before that they were Christians
Now they are ethnically confused lmao
But are quite conservative and Nationalistic
More faithful to Islam than alot of turks even
Pretty much, the religon still not divide the people, like syrians in Syria they see either as brother's and the same people
Syria is better example, yeah. Assad himself was quite tolerant of christian
*christians
Yeah
