What did he do?
Gave false hope to a troubled humanity.
Oh?
How?
i am not well versed in christian literature.
in fact at all versed.
Most of what we know about christ has been dramatically embellished throughout history. The first actual accounts of christ were by the historian Josephus, who was born years after the time of Christ's death.
And then the European dark ages happened.....
Historical fact became exaggerated, legend and myth became "truth"....
The greatest sin is tricking people to hold it as absolute belief
Christians are brainwashed.

TIL I'm brainwashed
Do you worship your God?
Yes, it's called having personal beliefs
that does not equate to "all of X people are brainwashed"
No...
it's an ignorant, collectivist thing to say
I simply asked if you worshiped your god, I didn't ask you to strawman me
strawman?
At no point did I strawman you
Yes, I have not argued that 'All of X people are brainwashed', where X people are people that have personal beliefs.
I answered your question and made 2 additional salient points about how ignorant it is to generalize
Without acknowledging what it is I was about to say
Well in fairness, I was responding to someone else
probably should have pinged him
'I answered your question'
kek
Anyways, what was the point you were about to make
I don't care if you follow the principles of Christianity, nor if you like the bible, but worshipping god is treating god as an absolute.
Do you believe people who worship a creator are brainwashed?
because that was the topic at hand lol
Yes, you can believe in a creator, worshipping a creator of which there is no evidence to point towards them or their need for worship I'd argue is brainwashed.
Even though that's literally the opposite of what it is?
Expand.
Do you know what the term brainwashed means?
Not trying to be shitty here, honest question
I'd think It's synonymous with indoctrinated, where the indoctrination can be considered as lacking in verifiable fact.
I use the Oxford dictionary, seems to be free from leftist meddling
here's their definition: `to force someone to accept your ideas or beliefs, for example by repeating the same thing many times or by preventing the person from thinking clearly`
'preventing the person from thinking clearly'
