replace hp mobo with chink mobo
In all seriousness, is that cable management alright?
First time building a machine with somewhat modern parts.
it doesnt look bad but the bottem part is almost too blurry to tell
near the psu
what are those seagates
dead
No
Seagate, Toshiba, hgst
@nitrokojote looks fine you could maybe hide that sata cable by looping it behind the case backplate
Other than that it's good
I was thinking about that, but it put too much stress on the cable, so I left it be
It's not s long cable
Thanks though. It's an okay machine, it's better than what I used to rock
i5-2400, 8GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, GTX 650 2 GB OC, Biostar TH61A, and a Thermaltake Smart 500W
I've seen people curl sata cables around screwdrivers which helped with keeping a tidy look when plugged in
Don't know if that's any good on the cable though
,my friend its 2019
correct solut ion is no sata
all m.2 nvme
you can do nvme over a sata cable
with some SAS adapters <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
you used to get thin sata connectors but I think they're not offered anymore
nvm
Eh, oh well, it's only one SATA cable.
that cable management looks alright
easier to work with a modern case with cable management features, than a huge tower from 2007 that hardly has anything
Or just sprawling a BTX motherboard, two power supplies, and all that fun stuff on one side of a desk
really though it's just a Rosewill, you could tell by the cheap rivets on the plexiglass panel
will you fall for the SFF meme one day?
I did and haven't regretted a single thing
maybe
I'm stuck with ATX because the motherboard I have is that.
I ain't paying another $70 CAD to get a Chinese board of questionable quality
Thought my TH61A was doomed when it started acting up thanks to the lane bug
But I figured out how to save it
