but yes, it seems like dodgy airport
for poor ppl
(im poor)
grab is the way to go in bang kok it seems
(Suvarnabhumi) has a direct connection to BTS lines
in other areas of Thailand its somewhat fairer
I had to take 29 bus from DMK to Mo Chit BTS station
then get train to my hostel
wasnt too bad
40 baht for bus ride
then when i got to station, i cba to drag my suitcase any longer
that's not bad
couldn't find the bus station so I got a taxi
so i just hailed taxi and let them scam me because i was 30 hr awake and not paying attention
best intro to thailand

@plasticsword you have to arrival area and then next to the door to outside, there's another door leading to a set of stairs
@plasticsword you still in Thailand?
once you get upstairs, you cross the bridge
no elevators so you have to drag suitcase down stairs on other side
then you drag it for another 5 mins on sidewak
and then you struggle as you lug your heavy suitcase onto the bus
lot of fun
I want to go again this year
and hold onto it for 40 mins so it doesnt roll down the aisle
because nowhere to put suitcases
see how economical i am
we're planning on getting a appartment for a month
done that before
er not apartment
@transience how much is your hostel per day?
like 4 quid, iirc
hehe
it's poorfag tier but not too terrible
bunkers with sweaty mainland chinks and white ppl
I'm paying 9 for my own room
at least there are roll down blinds so i dont have to see them
I cant do hostels
