i got a cheap usb "sound card" and it colours the audio like fuck, makes it pretty tinny. what do you recommend that doesn't do this @HEKTIK ?

the cm108 one i got seems "ok"

i havent really tested it but nothing sounded immediately fucked

if you need a proper verified DA/AD converter, grab a UCA202/222

theyre only like $22

but youll need an amp if you want to use the DA for anything that isnt line level shit
