From what I can see they are connected properly

Im pretty sure it's the driver because it sounds quiet regardless of what side I plug into it

where as the other side sounds fine

You just said you put the L wire into the R driver

I've tried it both ways

to check if it was the wire that was the problem

the cable being in fully wont matter in terms of volume really

once they make contact theyll either work or not

removed and reinserted the cables into the correct sides with the force of a thousand suns and Left driver definitely still quiet compared to the Right
