old standard output impedance was about 120 ohm

so you need a factor of 8 to overcome any significant FR changes

hence the 600 ohm variant

250 was probably just released for more current biased amps, and the 32 was designed for portables

the COPs are entirely different tho

theyre sealed so they isolate unlike the 880's, and have more bass punch and presence, but theyre also pretty veiled

if you need it, yes

if not, its neither good or bad

if you need to block out sound then youll want a sealed headphone
