I think you got chinked by someone who isn't even a chink

2018-01-25 21:22:49 UTC

is there some way to remove the fucking creaking in my headphones

2018-01-25 21:22:51 UTC

im about to glock

2018-01-25 21:34:10 UTC

1. buy stax

2018-01-25 21:40:57 UTC

2. DIE

Anyone tried one of the chinese Amplifiers/ DIY Amplifiers before?
Planning on building a gainclone and would prefer a solution where i don't have to hassle with cores and their controls too much.

2018-01-26 01:56:57 UTC

sounds like @HEKTIK 's dose

2018-01-26 01:57:23 UTC

@Sdeck37 ayy im about to build a gainclone

2018-01-26 01:57:41 UTC

what do you mean "where i don't have to hassle with cores and their controls too much" tho?

2018-01-26 01:58:09 UTC

@Windatica apparently pencil graphite or something helps with creaking

2018-01-26 01:58:22 UTC

some nerd told me to do that to the srh440's

2018-01-26 01:58:26 UTC

havent tried yet tho

2018-01-26 01:58:45 UTC

can't afford pencils? can't blame you

2018-01-26 01:59:18 UTC

wow

2018-01-26 02:01:52 UTC

@HEKTIK Oh yeaah

2018-01-26 02:02:36 UTC

Well i build electricity for my lamps and stuff like that before, but i've never touched a cpu/microcontroller

2018-01-26 02:02:42 UTC

Namely the LM3886

2018-01-26 02:02:45 UTC

... wat

2018-01-26 02:03:19 UTC

um

2018-01-26 02:03:22 UTC

its not a processor

2018-01-26 02:03:43 UTC

dude, SOMETHING happens to those wacky 0's and 1's, and clearly electricity needs to be built

2018-01-26 02:03:43 UTC

just follow the default gainclone design and its piss easy

2018-01-26 02:03:56 UTC

you can also get chinese kits, which are fine

2018-01-26 02:04:05 UTC

though the PSU's on them are apparently a bit sketch

2018-01-26 02:04:21 UTC

It's not? Damn that's the impression i got from all that stuff :/

2018-01-26 02:04:28 UTC

its just an amp chip

2018-01-26 02:04:33 UTC

gainclone is super simple

2018-01-26 02:05:02 UTC

ignoring transformer/chassis/heatsinks/wire, its like a $30 amp in componentry and pcb

2018-01-26 02:05:07 UTC

🤔

2018-01-26 02:05:25 UTC

or just buy a normal amp 😂

2018-01-26 02:05:51 UTC

yeah feel free to go buy a chinese overspec'd TDA amp that runs at 10 times higher than spec gain

2018-01-26 02:06:01 UTC

and then have to redo the gain stage

2018-01-26 02:06:03 UTC

how else do i power my monks

2018-01-26 02:06:08 UTC

straight from the wall

2018-01-26 02:06:19 UTC

so thats why the ground plugs are round

2018-01-26 02:06:23 UTC

ya

2018-01-26 02:06:28 UTC

ZZZSZzZap

2018-01-26 02:06:47 UTC

As i wanna build one that powers 4boxes, no sub, would you suggest i buy everything from scratch,
or, to get back on my first point, can i just buy a chinese prebuild, modify a tad and be done with it..

2018-01-26 02:07:56 UTC

@Windatica It's just to listen to some music while cooking, don't need to go full audiophile there

2018-01-26 02:08:06 UTC

if you can find a decent TDA/Tripath from china that actually has verified measurements that dont roll off in retarded places, and operate to chip spec, thats fine

2018-01-26 02:08:24 UTC

but otherwise its easier to build from "scratch"
