noooo
that doesn't have an actual AFE
ive been looking into cheap digital scopes but they all seem shit
tf is afe
get like a siglent or rigol or something
$300-$400
fuck that noise
im poor
that price range will do more than you'll ever need for audio
but anything below $300 is probably not gonna cut it for any precice or accurate measurements
so the cheap ADC route doesnt work?
how's $260
afaik achimago uses a uca202 for his measurements
siglent sds1052dl, can confirm it's more than up to the task
it has rolloff but otherwise its pretty accurate it seems
i guess you could, but you'll have an easier time of it if you use a scope
i dont really have the option if im a poor fuck
most of my money im investing into my business so i dont really have much play room
if you're willing to learn how to use em, aslk around electronics forums for old analog scopes
ive used a few cro's before
nah theyre pretty rare here
i'd just give you mine but shipping is a tremendous expensive bitch
ive been looking for a good while
kek
ya
those cheap digital scopes like the dso138 are pretty much useless tho right?
wouldn't even defile my trashcan with one
lol
ok
no point wasting 30 bucks then i guess
yeah, if your budget is rly that tight get the best usb adc you can find and watch the signal in audacity
why audacity?
there are actual programs like RAA that do that shit
16/44.1 if you can, that way it _only_ shows noise within human hearing range
rmaa*
while a scope or a high-res adc you'll be looking at shit your cat can't even hear
thermal noise and all will be visible
audacity is free and super easy to use is why
rmaa is free
is also pretty versatile
